118th Philippine Independence Day

Philippine Flag

This is a picture that I have taken inside the National Museum of the Philippines in Taft Ave, Ermita, Manila, 1000 Metro Manila. A standout amongst the most critical dates in the Philippine's history is June 12, 1898. It commends the country's autonomy from many years of Spanish guideline. Philippine autonomy was formally announced on June 12, 1898 with the perusing of the Proclamation of Independence in Kawit, Cavite. The Proclamation was arranged and read by Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista and was marked by 98 delegates, including General Emilio Aguinaldo.

The current year's theme is "Kalayaan 2016: Pagkakaisa, Pag-aambagan, Pagsulong."

The day is spent through with family or with companions and relatives and in either open air and indoor exercises however for the time being its Sunday such a large number of individuals would praise it. Likewise all administration workplaces and schools are shut as are private endeavors put something aside for business establishments. There will be firecrackers presentations are the standard. Kawit, Cavite holds a yearly dedicatory act with the banner raising at the Aguinaldo Shrine and the perusing of the Philippine Declaration of Independence. Around the world, Filipinos will assemble on June 12 or a date near it to freely celebrate, here and there with a Philippine Independence Day Parade.

Happy Independence Day Philippines! #Kalayaan2016
